Portuguese born freelance makeup artist Filipa Villar Afonso began her career in Lisbon, where she used her background in Fine Arts to go on to study with the Lisbon Fashion week head of makeup Antónia Rosa.

After doing her internship at Lisbon fashion week in the beginning of 2020, Filipa started to work with famous portuguese stylist Fátima Lopes and also with some independent agencies doing music videos for upcoming portuguese musicians .

Since then Filipa as already done every fashion week, worked with several model agencies, famous portuguese actors and celebrities, magazines, an independent movie, tv shows and publicity and done a few private events.

Filipa’s past and present clients have included: styling brand Mustique, actress Paula de Magalhães, actress Carolina Carvalho, model Sharam Diniz, designer Vera Manzoni, model Maria Borges, model and influencer Claudya Moreira, actress Helena Isabel, styling brand Behén, singer Julinho KSD, singer Ella Nor, stylist Fátima Lopes, singer Edmundo Inácio, model Nick Youngquest, singer Dillaz….
